Zest-a-Minute is an anthropomorphic lemon with small arms and legs. She wears a red skirt with white polka dots. She also has a bendy straw sticking out of her head with a red bow tied around it.
Zest-a-Minute always responds with “but, you know…" in all situations.
She makes the inspirited respond to everything with "But, you know..."

Etymology[]
- "Demonade" is a combination of demo ne (でもね, "but, you know..."), and the English lemonade.
- "Zest-a-Minute" is a combination of zest (a word that can also mean the skin of citrus fruit, like oranges and lemons) and the phrase just a minute. Zest-a-Minute's name may also be a reference to Minute Maid.
- "Limónescente" is a pun on "Limón" lemon and "Adolescente" adolescent.
- "Aspretta" is a combination of "aspro" (sour) and "Aspetta" (you wait in imperative mood).
